COVID-19 Readiness Plan

Our passion as a workspace provider has always been to push the envelope on health and wellness policies in the office space industry. The safety and wellbeing of our members obviously are paramount to us. Beyond PPE and safety protocols, our new spaces have been designed with new health precautions in mind and we continue to improve our policies as we receive updated governmental guidelines.

Designing
Healthy Spaces

The safety of our spaces begins at the design level. Infrastructural decisions in HVAC, air filtration, and building layout were all chosen to ensure a healthy environment for our members.

“Now is the time for us to look after the people who work for us. When a company steps up at a time like this, it builds loyalty, commitment, and long-lasting teams.”

Arjun Agarwal

HVAC & Air Quality

Some of the most impactful elements on your health are the ones you can’t see. That’s why our spaces follow the highest standards for air quality. Our HVAC systems are monitored regularly to maintain peak performance. We replace filters frequently, using a combination of carbon filtration and MERV 13 rated media filtration.

Minimizing Touch

To reduce the spread of disease on surfaces we’ve committed to making our spaces as no-touch and light-touch wherever possible. Trash receptacles and paper towel dispensers are all no-touch. In instances where surface interaction is unavoidable we’ve provided hand sanitation stations. We’ve also provided tissues and/or paper towels near all door knobs to provide a safe-touch alternative.

Prioritizing Personal Space

Social distancing is a relatively new concept and not second nature for most of us. We’ve factored this into the design of our spaces, incorporating several functional elements to encourage healthy social distancing:

  • Clear space dividers between open seats.
  • Increased space layout to help members adhere to the 6ft distance requirement while working.
  • Signage in hallways promotes one-directional flow to limit cross traffic

Keeping Our Members Safe

Maintaining A Clean Environment

Sanitization

We base our practices on EPA guidelines to ensure we’re properly sanitizing all necessary surfaces with substances that are safe for humans and safe for our environment.

Sanitation Stations

Hand-sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and masks are available near all shared work surfaces to empower our members to keep surfaces clean immediately after use and protect themselves through proper hygiene and mask usage.

Janitorial & Hygiene Protocol

Our members can expect cleaning and hygiene standards that exceed guidance by the CDC, WHO, and our local health organizations. Our cleaning strategy prioritizes high-touch points and EPA-approved sanitation practices.

Engaging Our Shared Responsibility

Ensuring the safety of our spaces is a collaborative effort that falls on all of us. We are in this together and can only maintain the safety of our spaces with the help of all our members. It takes all of us taking the proper precautions to ensure everyone’s safety.

Community Signage

Throughout all shared spaces, you will find floor and wall signage that reminds us about social distancing and CDC hygiene recommendations.

Face Masks

We require the use of protective face masks at all times in our common areas. At some time or another we’ve all forgotten a mask at home, which is why complimentary face masks are available at all of our sanitation stations.

Monitoring for Symptoms

When checking into the space, every member, guest, and/or visitor is required to submit our “Covid-19 Questionnaire.” As an extra precaution, this is accompanied by a temperature reading to ensure everyone is symptom free. In the event you have a fever (defined by the CDC as 100.4º F) we ask that you work from home that day and continue to monitor for symptoms.

In The Event of Exposure

Just as we expect you to be transparent about symptoms, we are committed to keeping our members updated in the event someone in our spaces contracts COVID-19. If any employee, member, or guest tests positive, we will immediately inform all employees and members while keeping every member’s identity strictly confidential.

We will then take immediate action to ensure our space is safe for members and employees to return. This includes deep cleaning and disinfecting, and a review of procedures and systems testing to validate the safety of the space.
